This project consists of installation of accessible pedestrian signals at existingsignalized intersections within the City of Durham, NC as well as minor pavement marking andflatwork. This project shall conform to the North Carolina Department of TransportationStandard Specifications for Roads and Structures, January 2024 and any addendum.The completion date is 180 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed. Contractorshall furnish materials and equipment needed to install the signal, including procuring soil testsand furnishing the metal poles. Liquidated damages for this project are $600.00 per calendarday for failure to complete this project by the completion date.Project-Specific DetailsIn accordance with the City’s Equal Business Opportunity Program (EBOP), this projecthas participation goals of 0% Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and 0% Women BusinessEnterprise (WBE) of the contract value.No presubmittal meeting will be held for this project.
