This project’s location is a portion of Castle Trail. The location begins approximately 1,000 feet east of range 5-1 and ends approximately 4,500 feet east of the start point. This project consists of but is not limited to providing design services and construction for paving Castle Trail from local known stations 36+50 to 81+50. The existing road is gravel, approximately 20 feet wide, and has some areas greater than 8% grade. There are approximately 1,000 feet of RAP Switchbacks. Project will also include adding new culverts, reclaiming existing asphalt, and ledge removal. Visitors must surrender a valid driver’s license, government ID, passport, or equivalent ID during their stay. Subcontractors are encouraged to attend. Visitors must notify the Project Manager no later than the day before the meeting so they can be added to the access list. All workers will need to enter Ethan Allen Firing Range via the front gate at 113 Ethan Allen Rd, Jericho, VT 05465. Travel east on Ethan Allen Rd and take your fourth left. Watch for Pre Bid signs. If you pass the parade field, or Essayons Road, you have gone too far.
