MH253002 - Mobile Shower Units (Statewide) Round 2

Providing access to a hot shower can build confidence and offer comfort to unhoused individuals. By meeting their basic hygiene needs, people are more likely to engage and take part in services such as:

• mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment
• housing readiness and direction
• employment support

Mobile Shower Units also create a trusted location where people can easily get referrals to services.

The Office of Mental Health has funding available for the one-time purchase and modification of a Mobile Shower Unit.
