Description: The City of Joplin is seeking bid proposals from qualified contractors or organizations to provide cleanup services along the Joplin Creek corridor from 7th Street to North Main Street. The objective of this project is to remove accumulated trash, debris, and litter along Murphy Boulevard from the creek channel, waterway, banks, brush, and wooded areas in order to improve water quality, safety, beautification, and overall environmental health of the corridor. The city would also like a bid alternate to include brush removal. There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting at the 4th Street/Murphy Parking Lot to discuss scope of project on March 27, 2026 - 2-3pm Given the scope of the effort, we will not require a performance or bid bond, nor is it prevailing wage.
