ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Town of Chester in Warren County is requesting separate sealed bids for the construction of a new Highway Garage & Salt Shed for:
- Contract 01: General Construction
- Contract 02: Plumbing Construction – excludes Salt Shed
- Contract 03: HVAC Construction – excludes Salt Shed
- Contract 04: Electrical Construction – excludes Salt Shed
The bid deadline has been extended from March 31, 2026 at 2:00 PM until April 14, 2026 at 2:00 PM and then publicly opened and read aloud at the Town Clerk’s office at the Town Hall, 6307 State Route 9, Chestertown, NY 12817.
Electronic Project Documents are available at no charge in the form of PDF to any interested bidder through the office of AEDA, P.C. by contacting Crystalle Burnell at cburnell [at] aedapc.com (cburnell[at]aedapc[dot]com) Paper copies can be requested at a determined value per sheet.
Bid proposals are to be submitted to Mindy Conway, Town Clerk at P.O. Box 467, 6307 State Route 9, Chestertown, NY 12817. Bids are to include all required items listed in the Bidder’s Checklist, including but not limited to, Non-Collusion Certificate, Statement of Surety’s Intent, and Certification of Compliance with the Iran Divestment Act, as required by General Municipal Law §103-g. Bidders are to follow the Instructions to Bidders and required to provide Bid Security in the sum of no less than 5% of the Bid Amount.
Offers will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 45 days after submission. Successful bidder will be required to provide Payment & Performance Bonds in the amount of 100% of their contract for this project.
