Proprietary information in your response must be clearly identified and will beprotected to the extent legally permissible. Proposals may not be marked ‘Proprietary’ in theirentirety. Information considered proprietary is limited to material treated as confidential in thenormal conduct of business, trade secrets, and discount information. Summary price informationmay not be designated as proprietary as such information may be carried forward into otherpublic documents. All provisions of any contract resulting from this request for proposal will bepublic information.No officer, employee, or member of the City Council shall have a financial interest in the sale tothe City of any real or personal property, equipment, material, supplies or services where suchofficer or employee exercises directly or indirectly any decision-making authority concerningsuch sale, or any supervisory authority over the services to be rendered. This rule also appliesto subcontracts with the City. Project ObjectivesThe City of Evans, CO is requesting comprehensive Automated Vehicle IdentificationSystem services to enhance traffic enforcement capabilities for the Evans PoliceDepartment. The selected vendor shall provide a complete turnkey solutionencompassing all necessary hardware, software, installation, training, and ongoingsupport. Additionally, the CITY will require speed studies to be completed at three CITYidentified sections of road where there may be suspected speed issues.All companies submitting a response must be a qualified company and must be able tomeet all requirements as noted in the contract documents and specifications. Theconsulting firm shall agree not to refuse to hire, discharge, promote, demote or todiscriminate in matters of compensation against any person otherwise qualified, solelybecause of race, religion, creed, color, sex, national origin, ancestry, or physical ormental disability.II.
