Description: LEGAL NOTICE: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL #010-2027 The City of Springfield will electronically accept submitted proposals through its’ e-bidding service provider, Euna OpenBids (formerly DemandStar) from qualified persons or firms interested in providing the following: Housing Quality Standards (HQS) / National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate (NSPIRE) Inspection Services. For any contract for services greater than $5,000, the successful Offeror shall comply with § 285.530, RSMo., as amended, and (1) provide by sworn affidavit affirmation that it does not knowingly employ any person who is an unauthorized alien and (2) provide documentation affirming its enrollment and participation in a federal work authorization program with respect to the employees working in connection with this contract. The required documentation affirming enrollment must be from the federal work authorization program provider. A letter from the Service Provider reciting compliance is not sufficient. A signed and notarized Work Authorization Affidavit and the Electronic Signature Page from the E-Verify program shall be provided prior to the issuance of a contract. The requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 including any amendments thereto apply to this contract. It is the policy of the City to practice nondiscrimination based on race, color, sex, or national origin in the award or performance of this contract. The City encourages participation by all firms qualifying under this solicitation regardless of business size or ownership.
