Description: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the City Manager’s Office of the City of Healdsburg, County of Sonoma, State of California, until the hour of 3:00 p.m., on the 26 th of November, 2024, mailed to: City of Healdsburg, 401 Grove Street, Healdsburg, California, 95448 for: PROCUREMENT OF CITRIC ACID, BULK SODIUM CHLORIDE (SALT) SULFURIC ACID & LIQUID SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE The City of Healdsburg (City) is seeking bids from qualified suppliers of bulk chemicals including Citric Acid, Sodium Chloride (Salt), Sulfuric Acid, and Liquid Sodium Hypochlorite for delivery to various City facilities located in Healdsburg, California. The complete Invitation for Bids (IFB) documents and specifications may be obtained by registering for the project plan holders list on this project page by clicking on the "View Documents" button below. After completing a short plan holder registration form, the bidder will be redirected to this page and the project documents will be available for download in the "Related Documents" section below. Any bidder that is not registered for the plan holders list prior to the bid opening date shall have their bid deemed non-responsive. This is an all or nothing bid. California Public Contract Code Section 3400, bidders may propose equals of products listed in the technical specifications by manufacturer name, brand or model number; unless the technical specifications or plans specify that the product is necessary to match others in use.   Complete information for products proposed as equals must be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office for review at least seven (7) working days before the time specified for bid opening in accordance with the bidders instructions contained in the bid package. The City of Healdsburg reserves the right to postpone the date and time for the opening of proposals at any time prior to the date and time announced in the advertisement in accordance with applicable law. The City of Healdsburg reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any defects or irregularity in bidding in accordance with applicable law, the contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder, on basis of the total base bid amount as listed in the proposal. The bidder must meet the terms of the specifications. All bids will remain valid for 90 days after the bid opening.
