NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed bids will be received by EVANSTON TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT 202 for the following project:

ETHS- Phase 2 Arts & Innovation Wing

Bid Group: 1

Bid Packages: 1- General Trades, 2- Demolition, 3- Concrete, 4- Masonry, 5-Structural Steel & Misc. Metals, 6- Glazing, 7-

Acoustical Ceilings, 8- Fire Suppression, 9- Plumbing, 10- HVAC, 11-Electrical, 12- Audio Visual

Bids will be received until 10:00 A.M. local time on Thursday, December 12th, 2025 at the EVANSTON TOWNSHIP HIGH

SCHOOL DISTRICT 202 Entrance 2, 1600 Dodge Avenue Evanston, IL 60201, and will be publicly opened and read at 10:05 A.M.

local time on that date. Space is limited, so it is encouraged that the bid opening be attended virtually. Virtual bid is available via google

Facsimile and electronic bids will not be accepted. All bids must be submitted in accordance with the bidding instructions contained in

the Bidding Documents for the project. Bid security in the form of a bid bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid

amount shall be submitted with the bid. The bond shall be payable to the Evanston Township High School District 202, 1600 Dodge

Avenue Evanston, IL 60201. All documents and information required by the bidding instructions for the project shall be submitted

with the bid. Incomplete, late or non-conforming bids will not be accepted.

No bids shall be withdrawn, cancelled or modified, without the Board’s consent, for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time

of bid opening.

The Bidding Documents for the project will be available at 8:00 A.M., Monday, November 17th, 2025 and are available for viewing and

download online, without cost or purchase, at the following link:

Bulley & Andrews will manage this bid via Building Connected - a free, web-based bidding software. All bidding documents including

instructions, pre-bid RFI’s, Addenda, and Exhibits will be updated and disbursed through this program. All bidding contractors are

encouraged to contact B&A for access to Building Connected – please email Savannah Jones at sjones@bulley.com.

The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof or waive any irregularities or informalities. Bids shall be

awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, considering conformity with specifications, terms of delivery, and quality and

serviceability, as determined by the Board. Any such decision shall be considered final.

Two site visits to inspect existing conditions and site logistics will be held for this project. Attendance at one site visit is MANDATORY

for all bid packages except glazing, acoustical and audio-visual. Visits will be held at ETHS High School, Door #2, at 1600 Dodge

Avenue in Evanston, IL. Dates and times of visits are:

Thursday, November 20th at 4 pm

Monday, November 24th at 10 am

The successful bidders shall comply with the provisions of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, specifically including the payment of the

applicable prevailing wages to all laborers, workers, and mechanics performing work under the contract. If during the time period of the

work, the prevailing wage rates change, the contractor shall be responsible for additional costs without any change to the contract

amount. All bidders must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity

Laws.
