Description

This is a notice of intent to sole source a contract under the authority of RFO 6.103-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The contract is estimated for final completion by 08/31/2031.

The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541519: Other Computer Related Services, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The FSC/PSC is 6515: Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies.

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and award a sole source, firm fixed price contract with four(4) Option Years for the procurement of PACSCube Express 8300 systems to Datcard Systems, Inc, 7 Goodyear Irvine, CA 92618-2001. There are no other sources of supply/service that will satisfy agency requirements.

Any responsible source that feels it is capable in performing this requirement may submit a quote for
the above listed items and describe and/or submit documentation to support your capabilities. The
response will be considered by the agency. If you are not the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM),
you must submit an authorized distributor letter signed by the OEM. If you are not the OEM and a small
business, you must indicate in your response how you will comply with limitations on subcontracting
and/or the non-manufacturer rule. Responses should be submitted to Alex Hernandez at
Alex.Hernandez@va.gov no later than 24 hours prior to the close of solicitation to be considered. If no
responses are received, the Government will continue with its sole source procurement, and a sole
source Request for Quote will be published to contract opportunities in accordance with FAR 5.102.
