SummaryThe City of Seattle seeks a pool of qualified vendors to provide asphalt and concrete repair and restoration services for the City of Seattle. Services will be performed on an as-needed basis and include, but are not limited to, the repair, replacement, resurfacing, patching, and restoration of asphalt and cement concrete surfaces throughout the City. This includes work on streets, alleys, sidewalks, driveways, curb and gutter, ADA curb ramps, roadway slabs, parking lots, and utility restoration areas.
BackgroundThe City has previously held contracts for asphalt and concrete repair and restoration services. The current contracts are with Hot Mix Pavers Inc. (Blanket Contract 6069), AA Asphalting LLC (Blanket Contract 6068), and Statewide Parking Lot Service Inc. (Blanket Contract 3680), which all resulted from ITB CTY-3579 in 2017. The City intends to close these contracts when they expire on December 31, 2025. In 2024, the City spent approximately $8,400,000 on these contracts. Most individual orders average $9,600 each (typically for a nine-month service) with a few orders as high as $60,000. The primary user of these contracts was Seattle Public Utilities. Future contracts may be used by any City department.
