Scope of Services
The City of Altamonte Springs desires to procure major mechanical repair services for (2) Cummins/Onan emergency standby generators. Due to the age of these units and the extend of internal mechanical work required, it is essential that all repairs be performed in accordance with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards to ensure continued reliability and emergency readiness. These repairs require manufacturer-specific parts, proprietary diagnostics, specialized calibration procedures, and direct technical support that are not available through third-party vendors. Therefore, Cummins Sales and Services is the only qualified source capable of completing the work in compliance with OEM standards and ensuring the long-term reliability of the generators.
