- Summary The Office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency (CASR) on behalf of the City and County of Denver desires to solicit proposals for professional services to support two cohorts of approximately 7-15 food service providers each (for a maximum of 30) with navigation services for their waste prevention and organics diversion efforts, including technical and financial support.
SummaryThe Office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency (CASR) on behalf of the City and County of Denver desires to solicit proposals for professional services to support two cohorts of approximately 7-15 food service providers each (for a maximum of 30) with navigation services for their waste prevention and organics diversion efforts, including technical and financial support. CASR anticipates awarding one or multiple contracts each for 18 months. The City reserves the right to offer the chosen proposers one or more extensions of the Contract for up to an additional two (2) years and adding additional funding if it comes available under this RFP.PurposeThis RFP is being solicited by the Office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency (CASR) and will be done in partnership with the Denver Department of Public Health and Environment (DDPHE). Together, they will act as the Project Management Team for the City and County of Denver. The Project Management Team is seeking a contractor to support two cohorts of approximately 7-15 food service providers each (for a maximum of 30) with navigation services for their waste prevention and organics diversion efforts, including technical and financial support. To maximize environmental benefits and reduce costs, cohort participants, when applicable, may first receive support with replacing single-use disposable service ware for onsite dining and preventing food waste through upstream strategies such as food donation.
Required Insurance:
The City does not negotiate insurance requirements or contract insurance language and any objections not raised formally in the selection process are waived.
Review the Sample Agreement for the required insurance amounts under paragraph 10 of this RFP, the required insurance coverages are as follows:
- Workers’ Compensation and Employer’s Liability Insurance
- Commercial General Liability
- Business Automobile Liability
