INVITATION TO BIDSCOTLAND COUNTY R-1 SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTSFEDERAL PROJECT NO. TAP 9901209MEMPHIS, MISSOURISealed proposals, addressed to:Scotland County R-1 Central Office436 W Lovers LnMemphis, MO 63555An endorsed “Proposal” for constructing Scotland County R-1 Sidewalk Improvements Project, will bereceived by the Scotland County R-1 School District until 2:00 PM (prevailing local time) on Thursday, June25, 2026, and at that time will be publicly opened and read.The proposed work includes:The construction of ADA compliant sidewalks and concrete pavement to ensure safety and connectivity for pedestriantraffic around the Scotland County R-1 sports complex.Federal and state wage rates applicable to this project have been predetermined as required by law and are set forthin the bid proposal.The prime contractor is not required to be on MODOT’s approved contractor listing. Section 102.2 of the MissouriStandard Specifications for Highway Construction will be waived for this project. The prime contractor must perform,with its own organization, work amount to not less than 30% of the total original contract price.A Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 15, 2026, at the library media room at Scotland CountyR-1 Elementary, 438 W Lovers Ln, Memphis, MO. Pre-Bid Meeting attendance is not mandatory.The Scotland County R-1 School District hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contractentered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economicallydisadvantage individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not bediscriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin inconsideration for an award, a DBE goal of 0% has been established for this project. Only the work performed by DBEsubcontractors that appear on MODOT’s approved listing at the time of bid opening will be applied towards calculatingthe DBE goal.Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects must provide a 10-HourOSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and IndustrialRelations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the constructionproject.Copies of the contract documents including drawings and specifications may be viewed & ordered online athttps://www.adsplanroom.net/ or by contacting American Document Solutions, 1400 Forum Blvd, Suite 7A,Columbia, MO 65203, phone (573) 446-7768, fax (573) 355-5433, email orders@adsmo.net for $100.00 for eachset, which is non-refundable.
