Business Park Water Storage Tank Modifications
The Project consists of demolishing two (2) 150,000 gallon steel water storage tanks, concrete foundations and appurtenances. Installing air stripper, pedestal, and foundation. Constructing all site access improvements, erosion and sediment controls, modifications to above and below ground water piping, site restoration and all work incidental to the work described.

SUSSEX COUNTY, DELAWAREBUSINESS PARK WATER STORAGE TANK MODIFICATIONSCONTRACT A26-09CONTRACT TERM: 200 CONSECUTIVE CALENDAR DAYSADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSSealed Bids, in duplicate, for the construction of the BUSINESS PARK WATER STORAGE TANKMODIFICATIONS will be received by Sussex County, at the office of the Sussex County Council Chambers,2 the Circle, Georgetown, Delaware 19947, until 3:00 PM local time on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, atwhich time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.The Project consists of demolishing two (2) 150,000 gallon steel water storage tanks, concrete foundationsand appurtenances. Installing air stripper, pedestal, and foundation. Constructing all site accessimprovements, erosion and sediment controls, modifications to above and below ground water piping,site restoration and all work incidental to the work described here-in.Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on unit price basis as indicated in the BidForm.The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, 121 Continental DriveSuite 300, Newark, Delaware, (302) 266-9600. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documentsat the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and mayobtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.Bidding Documents also may be examined at Sussex County Engineering, Sussex County AdministrativeOffice Building, 3rd Floor, 2 the Circle, Georgetown, Delaware 19947, (302) 855-8381, Mondays throughFridays between the hours of 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. BiddingDocuments are available digitally via file share at no charge. Alternatively, printed Bidding Documentsmay be obtained from the Issuing Office either via in-person pick-up or via mail, upon Issuing Office’sreceipt of payment for the Bidding Documents. The non-refundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is$150.00 per set, payable to Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment,printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder’s delivery method of choice. BiddingDocuments will be sent via UPS/FedEx Ground Service; overnight requests will be billed to the prospectivebidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered theprospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will notbe available from the Issuing Office.
