Project Description: Proposals for the following item for the City of Erie will be received via PennBid (https://pennbid.net) until 2:00 pm prevailing local time on Wednesday, June 3, 2026:
Bid # 1847-26 – 2026 Paving II – Liquid Fuels
This project is subject to coverage under the Davis-Bacon and related acts. Contractors bidding shall comply with the City of Erie’s MBE and WBE Policy.
Bid # 1847-26 will be partially financed through Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. This project is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, 12 U.S.C. 1701u.
Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $1845.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
