Description:	The County is soliciting sealed Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from licensed and highly qualified contractors (hereinafter referred to as “Respondents” or “firms”) to provide defensible space and home hardening services for the Project. Firms must have and demonstrate their experience in providing defensible space and home hardening services (experience with local governments is desirable). The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to create two (2) Qualified Lists (QL’s) of firms, one (1) list of firms to provide defensible space services and one (1) list of firms to provide home hardening services. The QL’s will be valid for an initial term of three (3) years. After the initial term of three (3) years all firms will be required to re-qualify annually. The Project is anticipated to be completed within five (5) years. After the initial QL’s are established, the RFQ will be re-posted annually to allow for additional firms to be added to both QL’s.
