Bid Title: Old Fire House Teen Center Demolition
Category: Bidding & Contracting Opportunities Status: Open Description: The Work to be performed shall include: Installation of Temporary Erosion and Sediment Control, and Tree Protection; remediation and disposal of all hazardous materials identified in the Hazardous Materials Report; demolish existing wooden fence; demolition and disposal of existing building, footings, building canopies, and appurtenances attached to, within, or below the existing building, and other work necessary to complete the project.
A pre-bid conference will be held at Redmond Old Fire House Teen Center located at 16510 NE 79th St., Redmond WA 98052 at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. All potential bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Any changes to the Bid Documents made as a result of this pre-bid conference will be issued as Addenda and made available to all Bidders.

1CALL FOR BIDSNotice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City of Redmond, Washington, nolater than 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2026, for the construction of Old Fire HouseTeen Center Demolition, Project No. 2569. The Subcontractor List must be submitted with thebid package within the deadline listed above. The bids will immediately thereafter be openedand publicly read. Bid Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered.All bids shall be submitted following the instructions outlined in Section 1-02.9. The bid openingwill be held via Microsoft Teams Live Event about 11:30 a.m. to allow time to download the bids.Prior to the bid opening, the link to the webcast will be provided on BXWA and the City’swebsite at redmond.gov/bids (in the bid item for this project).The Work to be performed shall include: Installation of Temporary Erosion and SedimentControl, and Tree Protection; remediation and disposal of all hazardous materials identified inthe Hazardous Materials Report; demolish existing wooden fence; demolition and disposal ofexisting building, footings, building canopies, and appurtenances attached to, within, or belowthe existing building, and other work necessary to complete the project.
