CWU-60-M: Fire Alarm Replacement (Decker, DMS @ DC)

Commonwealth University – Mansfield Campus of the PA State System of Higher Education invites Electrical Contractors to download bid documents for this project. Work included under this Project consists of Mansfield University Campus currently operates both Simplex and Siemens fire alarm systems. The campus standard has transitioned to Siemens fire alarm systems. The central reporting stations for all fire alarm systems are located at Doane Center. The existing Siemens NCC headend is currently at it’s end of life and needs replacement. The scope of work includes the complete replacement of the existing Siemens NCC with a new Siemens DMS headend/central reporting station. This replacement also includes the necessary work required to transition all the campus buildings (Grant Science Center, Spruce Student Housing, Sycamore Student Housing, Straughn Auditorium, and Decker Gymnasium) with a Siemens fire alarm system over to the new DMS headend.

Decker Gymnasium at Mansfield University currently operates a Simplex horn strobe type fire alarm system. The Simplex system is at its end of life and needs replacement. The scope of work also includes the complete replacement of the existing fire alarm system throughout the Decker Gym building with a new Siemens voice evacuation fire alarm system to match the campus standard.

A mandatory Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on January 29, 2025, at 10:30 am at Decker Gymnasium Building (main entrance) Mansfield, PA 16933.
