INTENT:The intent of this scope is to procure replacement mixers, associated equipment, and services for twoanaerobic digesters at the F. Wayne Hill Water Resources Center (FWHWRC). The equipment supplied will beinstalled by others. FWHWRC houses five 1-million-gallon egg-shaped anaerobic digestors, each equipped witha draft tube mixer. The digestors were installed in two phases; digestors 1 (40: DSLMIX- 1) and 2 (40: DSL-MIX-2) were constructed in 2000 and digestors 3 through 5 (40: DSL-MIX-3, 40: DSL-MIX-4, 40: DSL-MIX-5) wereconstructed in 2003. Attachment 1 contains the existing equipment drawings. Attachment 2 contains thePhase 2 O&M Manual for the original draft tube sludge mixers provided by the vendor, Sterling Fluid Systems.Under this scope Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources intent is to procure two mixers to bereplaced for digesters 1 and 2 (40: DSL-MIX-1, 40: DSL-MIX-2).2. SCOPE:Bids are requested for the following:1. Supply of all information requested on this bid.2. Supply all material and services for the two draft tube mixers in accordance with specifications.3.
