Description

Project Description: VJH (Vernon Jubilee Hospital) General Radiographic System located in Vernon, BC, previously contained an analog general radiographic (x-ray) system; however, it was decommissioned as it had reached the end of its service life and was causing operational issues for the biomedical engineering staff and operators. The space was subsequently used to temporarily operate a CT scanner (relocated from Shuswap Lake General Hospital, Salmon Arm) however this system has since been traded-in to the vendor, and the room vacated. The room, 173, is now empty and able to be re-utilized as an imaging room. There are existing cable conduits from the temporary CT scanner that will be removed.
