TOWN OF WEYMOUTH INVITATION TO BID
PHASE I - LOVELL FIELD TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
IFB-2026-PLANNING-0006The Town of Weymouth, acting through its Chief Procurement Officer, invites sealed bids from qualified contractors for Phase 1 – Lovell Field Transportation Improvements at 910-920 Broad Street in Weymouth, Massachusetts for the construction of transportation improvements at Lovell Field: including roadway work, drainage, landscaping, installation of street lighting, and associated electrical work, under the direction of the Chief Procurement Officer or Designated Town Representative, per the Scope of Work, plans and specifications contained in the IFB package.
Bid documents may be obtained from the Town of Weymouth Procurement Office by sending an Email beginning Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 8:30AM.
A non-mandatory pre-bid site meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 11:00AM. Attendance is highly recommended. The site meeting will be held at the Lovell Field Fieldhouse (behind 910-920 Broad Street), Weymouth, MA.
All questions must be submitted in writing via Email by 3:00PM on Thursday,July 9, 2026. Responses will be issued via addendum and distributed to all registered bidders by 3:00PM on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
Sealed bids are due on Monday, July 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM and must be delivered to:

Weymouth, MA 02189Late bids will not be accepted. Bidders are responsible for ensuring timely delivery of their submissions.
The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest total price, in accordance with the bid specifications. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids if deemed in the best interest of the Town.
Minimum qualifications, scope of work, and submission requirements are detailed in the Invitation to Bid. This procurement is subject to applicable Massachusetts General Laws, including prevailing wage requirements.
