We are also a member ofE & I, OMNIA Partners, Sourcewell / NJPA, MI Deal, REMC, National IPA, NIGP and NAEP. If someone elsein your company coordinates pricing for one of these groups, please forward this RFQ to them to complete.Response to this RFQ confirms an understanding that this is not a contract or offer of business by the College.This Request for Quote in no manner obligates the College to the eventual purchase of any products or servicesdescribed, implied, or which may be offered, until confirmed by the issue of a purchase order, and may beterminated by the College without penalty or obligation at any time prior to the issue of a purchase order.Project Specifications:Proposals must include all services and costs necessary to meet the business and technical requirements of thisproject including any assumptions made by the supplier including shipping FOB destination. Exclude allFederal, State and Municipal Sales and Excise taxes. Exemption certificates will be furnished upon request.Pre-bid Meeting / Site VisitA. A site visit is required and bids will not be accepted from bidders who have not inspected thesite to obtain first-hand knowledge of existing conditions.B. A pre-bid meeting will be conducted at the start of the scheduled site visit.C. Each bidder shall inspect the site and become familiar with existing conditions and limitationsof the site, means of access to the site and to work areas, relationship of existing and new work,and other conditions which might affect the proper performance and completion of the work.D. No allowance will be made after bid opening for cost estimation errors attributable to anyfailure to account for existing conditions and/or consider of any and all limitations on or of thisscope of work.E. Successful bidder will be denied any application for extra payments for conditions which can bedetermined by visually examining the site.F. Bidder’s representative shall report to the Owner’s Representative and register his name, phonenumber, and name of the company, signing in as verification of his site visit.G. Specify proposed equipment (make/model). It is expected the work willrequire going through cinder block wall and require a condensate pump to remove the liquid pulled from the air.Additional work may, but not necessarily include:- set up and layout site- recover all refrigerant- demo out old equipment- discard all old equipment- set and install new evaporator head- run and install new line set- set and install new condenser- install line set covers over line sets- wire units- drain units with new condensate drain piping- return power to system- set up new units- start up and check operation- clean up and close jobsiteQuotes must include an estimated lead time, as well as all shipping, handling, and delivery charges, Pre-Paid FOB: Washtenaw Community College. In the eventthere is any conflict or inconsistency between the Terms & Conditions referenced here and those referenced orincluded in a Supplier’s quote, WCC Terms & Conditions shall govern.Award: The WCC Purchasing Department reserves the right to award by item, group of items or total quote; toreject any and all quotes in whole or in part; and to waive any informality or technical defects if, in the judgmentof the Purchasing Agent, the best interest of the College will be so served. In determination of award, thequalifications of the vendor, the conformity with the specifications of articles or services to be supplied, and thedelivery time will be considered. In the event any articles are found defective inmaterial, workmanship or otherwise fail to meet the requirements of the quote within a period of thirty (30) days,the College shall have the right to reject such articles and request immediate replacement. Rejected articles willbe held for pick-up by the vendor or will be returned at vendor’s expense for handling, packing, and transportation.Default: Default is defined as the failure of the vendor to fulfill the obligations of the quote, including but notlimited to failure to deliver as specified or the unauthorized substitution of articles quoted and specified on thepurchase order. In the event of default, the College may cancel the contract or purchase order and procure thearticles or services from other sources, and place the vendor defaulting on the disapproved list for a period of notless than six months.Non-Discrimination Clause: Washtenaw Community College does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex,color, religion, national origin, age, handicap, height, weight, marital status, or veteran status in provision of itseducational opportunities or employment opportunities and benefits.
