REQUEST FOR FORMAL WRITTEN PROPOSALS FOR AGLIME CORRECTIONS AT COMMUNITY SPIRIT PARK
The City of Saint Peter, Department of Public Works, Parks Division is requesting formal written proposals for the following:
- Remove 3 inches of existing aggregate from warning track (CSP North Baseball Field).
- Removed material to be hauled to dedicated area in adjacent parking lot. Materials to be disposed of by the City of Saint Peter.
- The City will furnish an acceptable aglime material in a dedicated area of adjacent parking lot.
- Install 4 inches of acceptable aglime material on CSP North Baseball Field warning track (Estimated 300-375 tons).
- Level and compact - aglime material to be rolled after leveling to compact the material properly.
- Complete any necessary repairs to turf or adjacent areas disturbed by removal and installation processes.
- Aerate and roll outfield upon completion.
Work can begin on or after October 14, 2025 and must be completed by November 30, 2025
Removal costs to include removal of aglime product from the base of the fence to edge of outfield grass as to not leave any residual before new product is installed. A clean, definitive edge is required.
Contractor to repair any ruts or damage caused to ballfield with sifted dirt and hydro seed to City specifications. After installation of aglime, the grass outfield and impacted areas are to be aerated with a deep tine shatter aerator and rolled with a roller to eliminate the compaction that may have occurred during the exchange and construction process.
Work can begin on or after October 14 th , 2025 and must be completed by November 30 th , 2025

(vertical till as needed to blend existing aglime surface, then grade)
