Description: PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Schuyler County will receive SEALED PROPOSALS for both "HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION AND ELECTRONICS RECYCLING COLLECTION." Both programs will be offered to all Schuyler County and Yates County residents (businesses excluded) on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Schuyler County Shared Services Building on Decatur Street in Watkins Glen, NY. Proposal specifications may be obtained from the Schuyler County Legislative Office, 105 Ninth Street, Unit 6, Watkins Glen, NY 14891, between the hours of 8:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M., Monday - Friday, online at http://www.schuylercounty.us/bids or by calling 607-535-8100. Proposals shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly marked either "SEALED PROPOSAL - SCHUYLER HWW" OR "SEALED PROPOSAL - SCHUYLER ELECTRONICS." All proposals can be delivered to the Schuyler County Legislative Office, address above, until 4:00 P.M. on June 18, 2026. Proposals will be reviewed, and acceptance or rejection of Proposals will be awarded at the next Regular Meeting of the Schuyler County Legislature. The County of Schuyler reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to re-advertise for proposals if desired, and to accept the proposal which in the judgment of the County is deemed the most advantageous for the public and the County.
