This bid package covers all required excavation, concrete work, and construction for two kiosks to be constructed on City and Northwestern Energy Property at the north end of Duncan Drive in Missoula, Montana. Details, plan sets, and speci?cations are included below.

Construction Timeline: Construction can start as soon as contractor is selected and professional services agreement is executed (likely late September). Completion of all construction activities by December 15, 2025.

SWPP requirements: The Rattlesnake Dam interpretive kiosk is located approximately 60 ft from Rattlesnake Creek and will require use of SWPP BMPs to prevent sedimentation transport into the creek during excavation/construction. The Duncan Drive Trailhead kiosk requires minimal excavation and has a suitable vegetated buffer and will not require use of SWPP BMPs during construction.

How to Bid: Please provide line-item and total costs for each kiosk including: 1) materials by category (lumber, concrete, hardware, etc), 2) labor, 3) mobilization (including erosion control/SWPP BMPs).

Historic Rattlesnake Dam Interpretive Kiosk

Purpose: Display interpretive panels and reclaimed materials from the historic Rattlesnake Intake Dam which explain the history and role of Missoula’s water system.
Description: Approximately 9’6” x 19’10” post-frame kiosk with structural
footers/foundation. Custom fabricated of post base brackets required (see engineering plans). Construction location is on moderate slope (Location: Located on the west side of Rattlesnake Creek approximately 0.5 miles north of the north end of Duncan Drive. GPS coordinates are 46.91463 N, -113.96427 W. Construction site is fully accessible by equipment via locked gate and gravel maintenance road as shown on area map above.
