City of Wauwatosa – Request for Proposal - Police Towing for Three Year Contract Period
Issue Date: October 22, 2025

Close Date: November 5, 2025
Proposals Requested: Formal proposals will be received in the office of the Purchasing Coordinator, Wauwatosa City Hall, 7725 W. North Avenue, Wauwatosa, WI 53213 until 11:01 A.M. (CST) on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at which time the proposals will be forwarded to the Police Department for evaluation.
The City is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to provide towing services for a  period of three (3) years, beginning January 1, 2026 12:01 a.m. and expiring December 31, 2028, 12:00 midnight, with the option for three (1) year extensions in accordance with the Request for Proposal document dated October 22, 2025 and this Official Notice.
Copies of this request for proposal may be obtained by contracting the Purchasing Department at (414) 479-8958 or by emailing lschleimer@wauwatosa.net  All document requests will be fulfilled via email.
No bid deposit or bond required.
Proposal responses are due no later than the date and time listed above. Proposal responses shall be a single PDF delivered via email to the Purchasing Coordinator at, lschleimer@wauwatosa.net Please include “Police Towing Services” in the subject line when submitting.
Note: The City’s email system will not accept files larger than 10MB, if your proposal exceeds that limit please provide your submission via a digital drop box or FTP of your choosing and provide the download instructions in your submission email.
All bid prices shall be firm for the life of the contract subject to acceptance of bids within thirty (30) days from date of bid opening.
Bidder certifies that his bid has been made without connection to any other vendor and is, in all respects, fair and without collusion or fraud, and is made with the understanding that no elected official or Wauwatosa City employee has an interest, directly or indirectly, unless otherwise stated.
The City of Wauwatosa reserves exclusively to itself the right to reject any or all bids or, to accept the bids deemed most advantageous to the City and to waive any or all technicalities or informalities in submitted bids.  No alterations or modifications to bids shall be allowed after official date of submission.
