Overview

Summary

The City of Granbury is requesting written quotations for the purchase, delivery, and offloading of various sizes of Southern Yellow Pine (SYP), Creosote Treated Utility Poles.

This Request for Quote (RFQ) is intended solely to obtain competitive pricing and does not constitute a contract or commitment by the City of Granbury to purchase from any vendor.

All quoted utility poles shall include delivery to the City's designated location. Offloading shall be performed by the delivery driver using equipment provided by the vendor as necessary for safe unloading.

The City reserves the right to cancel this RFQ, reject any or all quotations, or elect not to make an award.

Background

The City of Granbury is undertaking a planned replacement of aging utility poles within the City's electric distribution system. Many of the existing poles have reached the end of their service life and must be replaced to maintain system reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.

To support this infrastructure improvement effort, the City is seeking written quotations for various sizes of Southern Yellow Pine (SYP), Creosote Treated Utility Poles. These poles will be used as direct replacements within the City's electric distribution network.

All materials shall be delivered to the City's designated location and shall meet all specifications and requirements contained in this RFQ.
