The Village of Elk Grove Village will receive sealed bids for the design and build of a fueling system equipped with one (1) split 10,000-gallon steel aboveground storage tank (4000-gallons for gasoline and 6000-gallons for diesel), fuel dispensers and subsequent plumbing for the fueling of fleet vehicles at the 1635 Biesterfield Road Public Works Yard and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project within Village limits as shown on plans and as described in Specifications, Plans and the Request for Proposal. Prospective bidders are advised to carefully review the General Conditions, Special Conditions, Special Provisions and Plans of this document.

All proposers must be prequalified prior to receiving proposal packets. Proposal plans and prequalification forms are available on the Village’s website www.elkgrove.org/bids. Once the prequalification form is reviewed and approved by the Village an electronic proposal packet will be sent via e-mail to the approved proposer(s).  To check on your prequalified status call the Elk Grove Village Public Works Department at (847) 734-8800.

Proposers: A mandatory pre-proposal site inspection is scheduled for 9:00 AM on July15, 2025 at the 1635 Biesterfield Road Public Works Yard

Proposals will be received until 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 local time at the James Paul Petri Public Works Facility, 450 E. Devon Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, 60007. All proposals must be received prior to the date and time shown above. Proposals transmitted by facsimile or email will not be accepted.

Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the Public Works Department, Village of Elk Grove Village, 450 E. Devon Avenue, Elk Grove, Illinois, 60007 and marked to indicate the following:
