Qualifications:
The Town of Falmouth Department of Public Works, in conjunction with the Community Preservation Committee, has established this scope of work to preserve 250 additional gravestones in this phase, referred herein as Old Burying Ground Preservation, Phase 2A. For the purposes of this project, each gravestone in this scope of work has been categorized into 1 of 5 conservation strategies as described on the Bid Pricing Page. Bidders shall refer to the assessments in Appendix A for specific strategies and notes relative to the conservation of each particular gravestone to calculate a bid price for each of the 5 conservation strategy categories. Bidders shall include 3 or more references from projects of similar size and scope completed within the last 5 years. Bidders should be prepared to start this project within 10 days of the execution of the contract and complete within 6 months, weather permitting.

Bids will be received in the Office of the Deputy Director, Falmouth Public Works, 416 Gifford Street, Falmouth, MA 02540 on or before the following time and date: 2pm on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at which time and place the Bids will be opened and reviewed.
Request For Services Documents will be available after 8:00 A.M on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 and may be examined and/or obtained at the office of the Deputy Director of the Department of Public Works, 416 Gifford Street, Falmouth, MA 02540.
