Description

The Nebraska Public Power District (DISTRICT) intends to procure the services to purchase and replace one (1) existing 5000 amp (A) (air cooled) PACS Industrial (Alstom VAH Breaker) roll-in generator circuit breaker (GCB) for the Steam Turbine (ST) at the DISTRICT'S Beatrice Power Station (BPS) "also referred to as facility" located near Beatrice, Nebraska.  The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for the purchase of the new breaker, removal of the existing breaker, and installation of the new breaker.  The existing switchgear bus and isophase bus interfaces will be reused to the extent as possible.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details

A non-mandatory pre bid Microsoft Teams meeting for prospective Bidders will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., CST. The purpose of the teleconference will be to review the Contract specifications and to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the Contract requirements. It is the Bidder’s responsibility, while participating on the teleconference, to ask any questions necessary to understand the requirements of the Contract so the Bidder can submit a bid that is complete and according to the specifications. It is highly encouraged that all prospective Bidders participate in this meeting. Information to join the meeting can be found on the ProcureWare website at www.nppd.com under Bids & Contracts.
