7th STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
BID DUE DATE: April 30, 2026 AT 2:30 PM
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed quotes will be received by the City of Dade City (City)
until 2:30 PM, Local Time, April 30, 2026 to provide 7th Street Improvement Project.
SCOPE OF WORK
The 7th Street Improvement Project is a targeted initiative aimed at revitalizing the existing
asphalt roadway and enhancing the overall appearance and functionality of the downtown
corridor. The project includes the installation of stamped brick crosswalk accents to
complement the current crosswalks and create a more visually appealing streetscape.
In addition, new parallel and diagonal parking stalls will be added to improve parking
availability, ease congestion, and provide more convenient access for local merchants and
visitors. Thermoplastic striping will be applied to clearly designate all traffic lines and parking
spaces, ensuring durability, visibility, and safety.
This work will need to be done in sections and only at night to limit the impact on traffic and
businesses.
It is the City’s goal that these improvements will contribute to a more accessible, attractive,
and enjoyable downtown experience for residents, businesses, and visitors alike.
