The Motor Pool Department is accepting sealed bids for several surplus vehicles and equipment. The bids will be opened publicly at 1pm 05/15/2026, at the Public Works Office located at 303 South 2 nd Street. Units offered for sale are as follows:

2015 Ford F-550 Super Duty tilting flatbed 4x4 (Unit #32), VIN-1FD0X5HY2FEA41272 - $10,000 reserve

2004 International Dump Truck, Model 7600 6x4, VIN -1HTWYAHT24J017635 - $15,000 reserve

2004 Ford E-350 Super Duty Cutaway Van, VIN – 1FDSE35L64HA10579 - $1,000 reserve

1985 Holden Flatbed Dual Axle Flatbed Trailer. $100 reserve

2009 Model Rotary Snowblower Unit. Model #SLMSC175 $12,000 reserve

2003 F-250 Super Duty, 4x4. VIN – 1FTNF21L93EB00646. $2,000 reserve.

REFUNDS OR RETURNS BE ACCEPTED.
Bids must be sealed and contain the bidder’s name, address, phone number, the bid amount and
the item being bid on. The outside of the envelope must be marked “Motor Pool Bid”. Bids may be
submitted in person at the Public Works office, 303 South 2nd Street, or mailed to Petersburg
Borough Public Works Dept Motor Pool Bid, PO Box 329, Petersburg, AK 99833. Bids may not be
submitted verbally, or by email or fax. No bids will be accepted after 1pm on 05/15/2026.
Payment is due within two weeks of notification of winning bid. Vehicles must be removed from
Borough property no later than 2 weeks after payment is made. If a purchased item is not removed
within 2 weeks of payment it will be impounded and subject to impound fees and possible
destruction. If the winning bidder fails to make payment, the next highest bidder will be awarded
the bid.
