DescriptionDescription – The US Forest Service wishes to procure: Qty: 200 each ; 60-Watt foldable solar panels for use in NIFC radio cache Solar Panel kits NFES 4080. The kits power communications equipment used on wildland fire. The panels must have the following specifications: 1.) Open circuit voltage less than 25Volts. 2.) Folded dimensions no larger than 13” x 7.5” x 3” to fit in existing enclosure 3.) Short Circuit Current less than 7 amps. 4.) SAE style connector to connect to existing cables. 5.) If Powerfilm Panels are offered, they must include optional weatherproof lamination.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number 12760426Q0028 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Flexible Solar Panels.
This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 221114 The small business size standard is 500 employees, This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.
