Description: The City of Portland, Texas is hereby soliciting bids from firms interested and qualified to provide ballistic shields for the City’s Police Dept. The Sealed Bid must be marked on the outside “RFB 6178 FOR BALLISTIC SHIELDS” along with the bidder’s name, address and contact information as instructed in the RFB.  All Bids must be addressed and delivered to: Annette Hall – City Secretary, City of Portland City Hall, 1900 Billy G. Webb Dr., Portland, TX 78374 by no later than 2:00 PM (CT) on March 27, 2025, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bids received after the due date and time will be deemed late, non-responsive and will not be considered.
