Local Food Systems Plan

The City of Olympia is seeking proposals from qualified firms to develop a Local Food Systems Plan. The plan will assess current food system conditions and outline measurable goals, prioritized actions, funding strategies, and performance metrics to strengthen local food production, distribution, access, security, and resilience.

The project includes two phases:

Phase I – Data collection and community engagement
Phase II – Development of an implementation-ready plan, including strategies and potential Comprehensive Plan amendments
