Bunten Road Park Improvement Project
Addendum #3 – Issued December 23, 2025
NEW DUE DATE – THURSDAY, JANUARY 22, 2026 11:00am
NEW DEADLINE FOR QUESTIONS – JANUARY 9, 2026 at 5:00p.
FINAL ADDENDUM TO BE POSTED – JANUARY 15, 2026.
Questions with Responses through 12/23/2025:
12/19/2025
1. On the schedule of items list, item number 56 is repeated. Is this correct?
a. RESPONSE: Yes, this is correct. There are 2 cultivars with different sizes, so
the line item appears twice intentionally.
2. On the schedule of items list, item number 94 says PVC. Is this correct or
should it be RCP?
a. RESPONSE: Yes, PVC is correct and is required per design.
3. On the schedule of items list, item number 103 says 2 LS. Is it one (1) or two (2)
lump sums?
a. RESPONSE: LS is incorrect; the Unit should be listed as EA for Each. The
Quantity of 2 is correct. An updated bid form will be provided with the final
addendum in January.
4. On the schedule of items list, item number 207 says 2 LS. Is it one (1) or two (2)
lump sums?
a. RESPONSE: LS is incorrect; the Unit should be listed as EA for Each. The
Quantity of 2 is correct. An updated bid form will be provided with the final
addendum in January.

1. Please let us know whether we need Design Build Irrigation system for the
landscape plan and there is no mention about the irrigation system in the plans
or the Bid Schedule, kindly confirm.
a. RESPONSE: Irrigation is not part of the scope.
12/22/2025
1. The typical Asphalt sections shown make us wonder if all pavement is to be
removed, install fabric, GAB and new asphalt pavement. Is that correct? If not
please provide a new detail outlining scope of work.
a. RESPONSE: There are two trail conditions included in the plans:
(1) areas where the existing trail will be removed and replaced in the same
alignment, and
(2) areas where the trail will be removed, regraded, and constructed in a new
alignment.
In both cases, the existing asphalt is to be removed and the new trail
constructed per the Typical Trail Section on Sheet C-7.1, including fabric,
GAB, and asphalt thickness as shown.
Any grading and subgrade adjustments associated with trail
realignment are included under the earthwork scope, not in the
asphalt quantity.
2. The typical asphalt sections show GAB and asphalt replacement (all new). Is
that correct? If it’s repair, mill & pave, what are the pavement details for
parking lot, roadways, and trail? As you can see, we are having difficulty
grasping the scope of work to price. 1. Asphalt trail 10,156 SY. Plans indicate a
portion to trail is to be removed & replaced completely. This work would be 6”
GAB and 4” 9.5mm placed in two lifts (see C-24). The remainder of trail is to
receive what scope of work? Mill & Pave 2”, 4” or what? 2. Asphalt parking Lot w
grading 2,007 SY is to receive 7” GAB, 2” 19mm and 1.5”9.5mm. 3. Asphalt
roadway & parking lot 14,010 SY is to receive what treatment? Is it mill and pave
with 1.5” 9.5mm or what?
a. RESPONSE:
Trail Scope Clarification
The 10,156 SY asphalt trail quantity represents full depth removal and
reconstruction of the entire asphalt trail system. This applies to both trail
segments remaining in existing alignment and those being realigned and
regraded.
All reconstructed trail segments shall follow the Typical Trail Section
on Sheet C-7.1.
Locations and limits of trail work, including areas of realignment and
grading, are identified on the Hardscape Plans.
Any grading and subgrade adjustments associated with trail
realignment are included under the earthwork scope, not in the
asphalt quantity.
Parking Lots & Drives Clarification
Refer to Sheet G-4 for pavement treatment limits.
Areas identified for removal and grading shall be reconstructed per
Typical Section C-7.2.
Areas not identified for removal/regrading are to receive overlay and
restriping only. No milling is required except where necessary for tie-
ins.
12/22/2025
Please help me understand and clarify the scope of work intended for the following
when you only provide two typical sections for this work yet plans identify multiple
scope of work.
1. Trail repair typical shows 6” GAB and two layers of 2” 9.5mm. For example Plan
Sheet C-2.4 indicates two types of work. One is clearly full depth replacement
per typical section provided. It is unclear regarding the scope of work for
remainder of trial(if any). Please clarify.
a. RESPONSE:
Trail Scope Clarification
The intent is full depth trail replacement for the entire trail system. This
includes:
(1) segments remaining in existing alignment, and
(2) segments that require grading and realignment
There is no partial trail repair scope. The intent is full depth replacement
for all trails.
All trail reconstruction shall follow the Typical Trail Section (Sheet C-7.1)
with 6” GAB and two lifts of 2” 9.5mm asphalt.
Trail locations and alignment adjustments are shown on the Hardscape
Plans.
Any grading associated with realignment is included under earthwork, not
asphalt quantity.
2. Only one typical section is provided for roadway and parking lot repair. This
indicates 7” GAB, 2” 19mm and 1.5” 9.5mm. For example Sheet C-2.6 show a
small section of roadway and parking replacement which is clearly per this
typical section. However the bid schedule indicate 14,010 SY for repave parking
lot and drive overlay. No typical or scope is provided for this work. Is it to be
milled and paved with 1.5” 9.5mm? Is milling to be edge milling for tie-ins for
mill the entire parking lot and roadway to remove reflective crack
removal? Please clarify.
a. RESPONSE:
Parking Lots & Drives Clarification
There are two conditions for parking and drive pavements:
(1) Full Depth Reconstruction: Where pavement replacement and grading is
shown on the plans, reconstruct per Typical Section C-7.2
(7” GAB, 2” 19mm, 1.5” 9.5mm)
(2) Overlay & Restriping: The bid schedule quantity of 14,010 SY applies to
areas identified as overlay and restripe only.
These locations and limits are shown on Sheet G-4.
This work is overlay and restriping only. No milling is required except
where necessary for tie-ins.

1. This is regarding the estimated quantities on this project "934LF of the
pedestrian guardrail". Would a substitution of Industrial Aluminum Fence work?
Specs: Black Finish 42" Flush Top/Bottom Square 1 ½ Rails Square 2 ½ Post
Square 1" Pickets. Please let us know.
a. RESPONSE: At this time, substitutions will not be considered during the bid
phase. Please price the pedestrian guardrail in accordance with the plans
and specifications so all bids remain comparable.
Any substitution requests may be submitted for review after award, in
accordance with the contract documents.
