Description: Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by Whatcom County Purchasing at its Office in the Administrative Services Finance Department located on the fifth floor of the Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand Avenue, Suite 503, Bellingham WA 98225 for the following: Consultant Engineering Services for: Application, Implementation, and Administration of Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) Grants UNTIL: 2:30 PM on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. At which time and place the responses will be publicly opened, and the names of the submitters identified. All interested people are invited to be present. Late submittals will not be considered. Whatcom County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularities. The Whatcom County Flood Control Zone District (County) is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to: Lead the implementation and ongoing administration of two (2) Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) acquisition grants and two (2) HMGP elevation grants (total of 4 grants) the County was awarded as a result of the November 2021 floods that are at various stages of application or implementation; and Support the County in applying for and implementing future Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) grants, as needed.
