Description: TOWN OF BARRINGTON, RHODE ISLAND DEPARTMENT OF RECREATION & SENIOR SERVICES ONE (1) 4WD ELECTRIC SEVEN PASSENGER VAN Van Specifications: The following are the minimum specifications for one (1) new 2025 4WD Electric seven passenger van or manufacturer which meets general specifications: GENERAL: Electric Motor 7 Passenger 3 rd Row Seat Backup Camera Fog Lights Windows, Tinted Glass AM/FM stereo, clock Front and Rear Air Conditioning Navigation System Power Seats Power Sliding Rear Doors AWD Blind Spot Monitor Forward Collision Waren Keyless entry Parking Sensors/Assist Side-impact Air Bags Adaptive Cruise Control Bluetooth Hands-Ree Liftgate Lane Departure Warning Power Liftgate Spare Tire and wheel Tow Package Tire Mobility Kit Color: White or as approved by the Town WARRANTY: New Vehicle Limited Warranty: 4 years/50,000 miles (whichever occurs first) High-Voltage System: Limited Warranty: 4 years/50,000 miles (whichever occurs) * except High-Voltage Battery; 8 years/100,000 miles (whichever occurs) * Limited Warranty against Corrosion Perforation: 7 years/100,000 miles (whichever occurs first) * Price for Additional Extended Battery Warranty Publication Date/Time: 12/9/2025 9:00 AM Publication Information: East Bay Newspaper / Barrington Times Closing Date/Time: 12/22/2025 11:00 AM Submittal Information: Bids are to be placed in sealed envelopes and appropriately marked and addressed to: Department of Bid Opening Information: 12/22/2025 @ 1100 AM Pre-bid Meeting: N/A Contact Person: Jean Bellm Department of Recreation and Senior Services jbellm@barrington.ri.gov 401-247-1926 Business Hours: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Qualifications: BIDDING REQUIREMENTS AND INFORMATION 1.        Bids will be considered and reviewed for ANY electric van manufacturer which meets general specifications for an approximate 4WD Electric seven passenger van. 2.        Dealers are to bid a new 2025 model. 3.        Complete bids including “data required for rating vans” hereinafter requested are to be submitted on or before the date and time due and signed by the person authorized to represent the bidder. 4.        The complete unit including all accessories and extras, together with parts lists and service manuals, to be delivered to the Recreation and Senior Services Departments, 281 County Road, (library lower level) Barrington, Rhode Island. 5.        Time required to make delivery shall be stated in each bid. 6.        All proposals SHALL BE submitted on the attached bid sheets, and each bidder is required to submit with their bids complete Manufacturers Specifications on the unit to be furnished. 7.        Bids offered which do not meet minimum requirements may or may not be considered. All exceptions must be listed. 8.        The Town of Barrington reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid most acceptable to the Town of Barrington. 9.        Vendors are required to submit two (2) copies of their bid. 10.        Contact Jean Bellm, 401-247-1926 x 202 with any questions regarding this bid. Special Requirements: Until 11:00 AM on Monday, December 22, 2025 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read.
