Request for Quotes

The Harrison County School District Board of Education will accept quotes for School Visitor Badge Services/System for the 2025-2026 school year. For any questions or concerns please contact: Melissa Garrison [email protected] .

All quotes must be submitted to Melissa Garrison via email by July 16, 2025. Quote will be awarded by August 18, 2025, at the latest.

Purpose
The purpose of this request for quotes is to obtain quotations for a school visitor badge service/system.

Scope of Services
The services will include but are not limited to:
An online platform with a system that will allow the district to mitigate the risks of unwanted visitors or child predators from gaining access to school campuses by checking the background (i.e., any outstanding warrants or child pedophile charges) of the individual visiting the campus and issuing a tangible label that visitors can display on their person.
Provide real-time sync with student data package.
Provide a way to track how long visitors are on the campus.
Provide a way to an automated way to access all custody care, court orders and parental rights information to provide ease of access for office staff.
Provide reports of all visitors, volunteer, and faculty information for daily, weekly, or annual reporting.
Email and text alerts to notify if an unwanted visitor is on campus for administrative staff.
Student/family and staff data may not be shared or sold.
Check-ins should be fast, easy, and efficient using the system chosen.
Professional development about how to use the system is required.

The 2025-2026 school year, minimum proposed
