Project Description

The City of San Carlos is seeking proposals from qualified firms experienced in open space trail building to implement a new trail segment in San Carlos. The proposed segment is a trailhead entrance that runs along a public use easement from Trillium Way into Waterdog Lake and Open Space, a park that resides in the City of Belmont. The project includes construction of the new trail segment.

Prospective responders may direct inquiries/questions in writing only to: Amy Newby, Parks and Recreation Director, at anewby@cityofsancarlos.org . All questions are due no later than 5:00 p.m. PST on Friday, July 24, 2026.

Responses to the questions received, as well as any questions from the site walk will be posted on this webpage by Tuesday, July 28, 2026 by 5:00 p.m. PST.

Interested firms shall submit a proposal via email by Monday, August 10, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. PST to Amy Newby, Parks and Recreation Director, at anewby@cityofsancarlos.org .
