RE: ADDENDUM #1, RFP NO. 20260397, COUNTYWIDE ELEVATOR ASSESSMENT
PROPOSAL DUE DATE: 3:00 p.m. (EST), MAY 20, 2026
Firms are hereby notified that this addendum shall be made a part of the above-named proposal and contract
documents. The following are issued to revise/clarify the proposal and contract documents, and these items shall
have the same force and effect as the original proposal and contract documents. Proposals to be submitted on the
above-specified date at Purchasing shall conform to the revisions and clarifications as listed herein.
ITEM #1 QUESTIONS/ANSWERS
Q1: Please clarify if you require pricing to be submitted with our proposal, or if pricing will be requested separately
after your initial evaluations and short list.
A1: No pricing is to be included in the proposals. The proposals will be evaluated based on qualifications. Please
refer to Part III of the Request for Proposal package. Negotiations will be conducted with the top-ranked firm
and at that time a Scope and Fee will be established.
Q2: What are the days/hours allowed for performing assessments?
A2: Weekdays 7:30am 4:00 pm excluding holidays
Q3: Are there any limitations to access equipment? I.e., security requirements, badging, hours
A3: In unsecured buildings, the Contractor will be issued an access badge and keys on a daily basis. Secured
locations (County Jail and Justice Center) the Contractor will be escorted by County personnel.
Q4: What date (or date range) do you expect to issue a contract to the awarded consultant?
A4: We are estimating the contract to be awarded in July 2026.
Q5: What are your expectations for meetings? I.e., Number, frequency, in person vs. remote
A5: The shortlisting for this project is scheduled for May 28th, which consists of a telephone call to all the submittal
firms. Any other meetings will be with the top ranked firm.
Q6: Will there be any meetings required post report submission?
A6: We are assuming there would be one (1) meeting for presentation of results and clarifying questions from
County personnel.
Q7: Will you require both electronic and hard copy reports?
A7: Yes, we will require both electronic and hard copy reports.
Q8: Is there a specific format you require for reports? If so, please provide a sample/example report.
A8: Once a firm is selected, then we would review that firms proposed report format for consideration and comment.
This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original proposal documents of RFP
No. 20260397. Firms are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their proposal forms.
