Description: The City of Cortez seeks a qualified Geographic Information System (GIS) technician to provide contract GIS services to the various City Departments. The City anticipates this will be an 8-16 hour per week contract. The City will provide the hardware, software, office space, and GIS base data. Office location will be at the City Service Center, 110 West Progress Circle, Cortez, Colorado 81321. The successful proposer will be required to execute a professional services contract with the City for a term of one year, which may be renewed upon agreement of both parties. The Contractor will be an independent Contractor to the City. Special Requirements: A minimum of three (3) hard copies and (1) soft copy PDF or USB drive shall be submitted.
