Repairs to these fences and gate perimeters is the first step to prevent unauthorized entry, parking, or dumping. The Housing and Community Development (HCD) Department addresses housing affordability issues through its “3P” framework: Protect Oaklanders from displacement; Preserve the existing affordable housing stock; and Produce new, deeply affordable housing units. In service of meeting the goal of producing new units, Oakland is preparing to disposition surplus vacant lots with the goal to lease or sell for development of new affordable housing. The services requested are to repair the damaged fencing to secure the lots and prevent unauthorized access. The award resulting from this RFQ will be for a two-year (2) period with one (1) one-year option. The City of Oakland invites your firm to submit a bid to fully provide the goods and or services described herein. This Request For Quotation and any subsequent contract award will be in strict accordance with the documents identified below: Offeror should check and be sure that they have received all documents and should follow the instructions contained within this RFQ when preparing their bid.
