Category: Parks and Recreation Status: Open Description: This project consists of milling and resurfacing, aggregate base widening, asphalt paving, construction of a concrete toe wall, pavement pulverization, ditching, drainage structures, culverts, rip rap, and all other work required to construct the improvements to Laderman Park near Belleville Illinois from Mascoutah Avenue to the parking area.

jpoole@belleville.netQualifications: Any and all firms and/or persons entering into a contract agreement with the City of Belleville shall be subject to and required to comply with all applicable local, State, and Federal requirements, in particular non-discriminatory equal employment opportunity and affirmative action on public contracts. Any and all contract agreements shall be in conformance with the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq), Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570/0.01), and the City of Belleville’s Project Labor Agreement. No bid will be accepted nor opened which has been received from any bidder who is not a bid document holder of record with the official bid document issuing entity identified in the Notice to Bidders.
Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Bidder's total bid price, such security being an acceptable bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond in the full amount of the bid.
No Bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The City of Belleville, Illinois, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities in the bidding.
