N O T I C E TO B I D D E R SSealed proposals will be received until 3:00 p.m. on June 25, 2026 by the North CarolinaDepartment of Administration, at the North Carolina State Construction Office, Suite 450,301 North Wilmington Street, Raleigh NC 27601, for the construction of “DowntownGovernment Complex Exterior Water Intrusion Repairs”, 25-29293-01A, and immediatelythereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, materials and equipmententering into the construction of.Downtown Government Complex Exterior Water Intrusion RepairsSCO #: 25-29293-01AWork under this contract consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary toperform the specified work as shown on drawings and described in this specification.Pre-Bid MeetingA mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held for bidders and vendors on Thursday, June11, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the State Construction Office, Suite 450, Raleigh, NC 27601 inthe large conference room. Forms and instructionsare included within the Proposal Form in the bid documents. Failure to complete these forms isgrounds for rejection of the bid. (GS143-128.2c Effective 1/1/2002.)All contractors are hereby notified that they must have a proper license as required under thestate laws governing their respective trades.General contractors are notified that Chapter 87, Article 1, General Statutes of North Carolina,will be observed in receiving and awarding general contracts. General contractors submittingbids on this project must have license classification for GeneralEach proposal shall be accompanied by a cash deposit or a certified check drawn on somebank or trust company, insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, of an amountequal to not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal, or in lieu thereof a bidder may offer abid bond of five percent (5%) of the bid executed by a surety company licensed under the lawsof North Carolina to execute the contract in accordance with the bid bond.
