Solicitation Description:
Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) has established a contracting opportunity for the supply and installation of electrical equipment at sixteen (16) Traction Power Substations (TPSS), four (4) Tie-Breaker Stations (TBS), and one (1) DC Switchboard Room to accommodate the additional power capacity as required for the State of Good Repair Programs. The resultant contract, if awarded, will be federally funded. You are hereby invited to submit to WMATA a proposal to furnish all labor, materials, and any other related items required for the performance of Contract No. FRBIR233152. The Solicitation documents will be made available on WMATA¿s Project Management Software System (Procore). Please send your request for a copy of the solicitation documents via electronic mail to William J. Geroux, Contract Administrator at wgeroux@wmata.com. In the subject field, please enter, ¿Solicitation FRBIR233152/WJG Request for Solicitation Documents¿. You must provide your email address for you to be given access. In the body of your email, please include, your name, company name, company address, telephone number, email address, and company web-site address. You will be notified via return email. Price and Technical Proposals as well as Contractual documents described herein shall be submitted as separate electronic files through the PMSS (Procore) by the specified closing time on the date of closing. Once the date and time for proposal submission has closed, Proposer will be unable to upload their proposal to Procore.
