Overview

Summary

The purpose of this Invitation for Bid is to select a qualified vendor to provide crane services throughout the City of Palo Alto (City). Crane support needed for City of Palo Alto Utilities Distribution System (involving installation of Transformers, Switches/Switchgear equipment, Concrete Vaults/Boxes/Slabs, Power Poles etc.)

The contractor shall be California licensed and provide the City with appropriate Insurance acceptable to the City’s Risk Manager.

The Vendor shall provide services as described in the scope below, supporting CPAU’s Electric Distribution on an “as needed” basis in close collaboration with City construction crews. The City is seeking a possible three (3) year contract.

The bidder is to complete the entire Bid Form and all other documents when bid is submitted.
