RE:
ADDENDUM #1 - BID NO. 20260430 WAYFINDING SIGNAGE FOR HAROLD AVENUE
REGIONAL PARK AND MARACAIBO PARK
BID OPENING DATE: 2:00 p.m. (EST) MAY 27, 2026
Bidders are hereby notified that this Addendum shall be made a part of the documents. The intent is to add to, modify, or
clarify the documents. Should any of these items have an effect on price, such changes shall be included in the price bid.
These items have the same force and effect as if contained in the original.
ITEM 1:
QUESTION/ANSWER
Q1. Panel Thickness - The Design Intent Drawings (Page 53) state the sights should use an .080" aluminum panel.
Conversely, the Structural Drawings (Page 40) require 1/4" aluminum panels we have no trouble in the details
of how the sign is fastened, but we would like to quote the quarter inch panels or would prefer to switch to all steel
construction. This can be turned into an additional line item for an alternative.
A1. The County wants to use the .080aluminum panel, as shown in the Design Intent Drawings.
Q2. Sign Quantities - (Page 25) of the Bid Form requests pricing for 4 One-Sided P1 Signs and 7 Two-Sided P1
Signs. However, the provided indices on (Pages 61-65) list a total of 3 One-Sided P1 Signs and 8 Two-Sided P1
signs across the two parks. Which quantities should we use for the final pricing?
A2. The quantities on the Bid Form match the quantities on the indices. The quantities to use for final pricing should be: 4
One-Sided P1 Signs and 7 Two-Sided P1 Signs.
Q3. Unlisted Sign Types - The bid package includes structural and design drawings for Sign Types D2, P2, ID1, and
ID2 between (Pages 41-45 and 54-58) these are not listed in the Bid Form (Page 25) or the Wayfinding Indices.
Will these be excluded from scope, or will you want pricing on these signs as well? As before, we can provide
alternative pricing on the estimate.
A3. The structural and design drawings cover the various signs that the County uses. The other sign types (D2, P2, ID1,
and ID2) are not used as part of this project. The County only wants pricing on the items listed on the Bid Form.
This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original bid documents of Bid No. 20260430.
Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms.
