Bids will be accepted from Contractors who haveworked as a sub-contractor on a prior Maine Turnpike project. All other bids may be rejected. ThisProject includes a wage determination developed by the State of Maine Department of Labor.The work consists of completely removing the existing Asphaltic Plug Joints from the pavedsurface of the roadway in designated locations, disposing of all debris, and installing new AsphalticPlug Joints. The Authority will perform all necessary traffic control for this contract.The half size Plans and Contract Documents may be obtained from the Authority uponpayment of One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars for each set, which payment will not be returned.Checks shall be made payable to: Maine Turnpike Authority.
